I have been dancing since the age of three in different types of dance including jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, and ballet. I have trained at two studios in Orange County. I competed in dance for five years in hip-hop, jazz, lyrical, and musical theater. I am currently captain of my high school's Cheer and Song team and enjoy Song leading's different style. I truly enjoy teaching and empowering children. I hope to have dance as a part of my career in the future.
I have been dancing for nine years and have been competing for seven years. I'm currently attending middle school in Orange County. My styles of dance are ballet, lyrical, jazz, and hip-hop. I have attended three dance studios and have also competed at multiple areas including Disneyland, Redondo Beach, and Carlsbad. In my dances, we do group numbers, solos, and have won many awards through the years. Because I love to dance I wanted to share the experience with other children and hopefully show them how much dance can mean to a person. I have enjoyed teaching the kids at Girls Inc. and want to share my passion for dance to friends and family.
I have been dancing at two dance studios in Orange County since I was 4 years old and I have been competing since I was nine. I am trained in ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, tap, and musical theater. I am currently a freshman at University High School. I have attended many competitions and strive to be a future dance instructor. I love being a part of Dance Promise and being able to teach girls the art of dance.

Mr. Steve Chen graduated from University of Washington in Seattle in 1989 with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Asian Language and Literature. He worked in HsinChu International Business Bank as chief FX trader until 1996 then worked as acting General Partner for Brother's Enterprise in Seattle dealing in real estate before moving to Southern California. Mr. Chen is presently the managing partner for Namazu Investments LLP. In his free time, Steve enjoys tennis, golf, bicycling, hiking and very bad karaoke.
Julia has completed my Master's Degree in Marital and Family Therapy in 2005 at Alliant International University. She was very fortunate to have completed her internship in 2008 at three exceptional facilities: Orange County Head Start, Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation, and Newport Community Counseling Center. Julia has counseled children, adolescents, adults, elderly, and couples in individual and family therapy. She has also led In-Safe-Hands women support group for domestic violence victim/survivors. Furthermore, she has taught anger management and super communication skills classes. Currently, she is eligible for the Marriage and Family Therapy licensing exam. She is a member of American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, California Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and American Psychological Association.
Dr. Tai is a board certified Family Practice Physician at the Pioneer Medical Group of South Gate. She emphasizes preventive medicine and womanï¿½s health. Born in Taiwan, she came to the United States at age 8, and grew up in Orange County. Dr. Tai attended University of California at Berkeley, where she earned a bachelors degree in molecular cell biology. She attended medical school in Kirksville, Missouri, trained as a medical student at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, and completed her residency at Downey Regional Medical Center. In her free time, she enjoys cycling, hiking, traveling running and tennis. She also rejuvenates her mind with a good musical or a nice book.
Prany Sananikone is currently the Director of Diversity Relations and educational programs, Office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity (OEOD), at the University of California, Irvine. He develops and oversees staff development training, especially in the area of diversity, cross-cultural communication, and conflict management. Many programs are extended to students and faculty. Prior to this assignment, he was Director of Health, Education, and Community Programs at the University Extension. Before joining the University of California in 1990, Mr. Sananikone worked extensively with community-based/non-profit organizations, developing educational and social services programs for refugees and immigrants. He has served and still working as consultant/trainer for law enforcement, medical, educational, social service agencies, and business corporations throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. His bachelor degrees are in Education (B.Ed.) and Community Development (B.A.), and his Masters degree is in Communication: Strategies and Planning, both from the University of Hawaii.
David Kani concentrates his practice on commercial litigation, construction disputes, fraud, director and shareholder disputes, trade secret misappropriations, business torts, and breach of contract actions. He has successfully represented corporations, partnerships, investors, contractors, and other entities in a variety of business related disputes. Mr. Kani has also advised clients on matters related to the purchase and sale of commercial real estate and the transfer, assignment, and defeasance of multi-million dollar securitized commercial mortgage loans. Mr. Kani previously worked for a prestigious litigation firm in Los Angeles, California, where he had a key role in research and class management for several high profile class action lawsuits involving fraud, civil rights violations, and civil RICO. He is actively involved in all phases of litigation, from pre- litigation counseling through trial and appeal.
Ivy joined ING REIM Taiwan in February 2010 as the Head of the Finance where she oversaw all aspects of Corporate and Asset Financial Management including Fund reporting and cash management. Ivy has been working in the Financial Management industry, including corporate finance, financial analysis, auditing, budgeting and strategic planning, since graduating with a Master's degree in Accounting from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles in 1997 . She received her California CPA certification after completing her credentials at Price Waterhouse in 2000, where her focus was in the Investment Management and Financial Services sector. Prior to joining ING REIM, Ivy worked for more than eight years in corporate finance with the Walt Disney Company and Macquarie Bank Infrastructure Trust in North America. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English.
Helen Lee obtained her Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a minor in Psychology from University of California of Irvine. She also obtained her MBA from University California of Irvine. Ms. Lee finished her education with a PsyD in Business Psychology from Alliant International University. She was the Vice President of a real estate development company, Lee Chen Heritage LLP from 2003 to 2007. Helen Lee is currently the President of Ryvor Investments Inc. dealing with real estate acquisitions as well as lending. Ms. Lee loves children and believes that every child has the right to education. Ms. Lee's favorite past time is hanging out with families and good friends. Lena Louis is a litigation attorney who has been actively practicing in the fields of construction defect, commercial litigation, construction law and personal injury since 1996. She concentrates her practice on representing commercial property owners, developers, general contractors, trade contractors and homeowners. Lena is a ï¿½hands-onï¿½ attorney and prides herself in giving personal attention to her clients to obtain the best results possible. Lena has brought numerous civil actions against Catholic organizations in South Dakota for claims of sexual abuse by priests and nuns at Catholic boarding schools. Steven I. Hochfelsen is a litigation attorney. A member of the American and the Orange County Bar Associations since 1986, Mr. Hochfelsen has handled business litigation of every description through trial.
